Final update: approved. Full timeline for anyone who finds this thread later: Sept 22: build 267 rejected under 2.1(a), a launch crash on iPad Air running iPadOS 27. Fixed the same day and resubmitted as build 268. Sept 22: a reviewer signed in to the demo account that evening. Sept 24: build 268 entered In Review. Sept 28: status request through Contact Us (case 102979044954). Oct 1: Developer Support said the review was outside their normal timeframe and the review team had been notified. Oct 5: second status request (case 102986888342). Acknowledgement only. Oct 9: replied in the App Review message thread citing both cases. No response. Oct 25: after 31 days in review, the reviewer came back with three specific changes. One of them was an explicit consent screen before any call recording or transcript is sent to third-party AI services, covering guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i). Oct 25: all three changes made the same day. Oct 26: resubmitted as build 270, with iPhone Duo support included. Oct 28: approved, about two days after resubmitting.

Quick update. After a month in Apple’s review queue, we finally heard back today. The reviewer asked for a few specific changes. All changes were done the same day, and the app is resubmitted as of tonight, with the iPhone Duo support included. Just keeping this thread as a log for anybody else going through the process.
