Reply to Kernel panics on M5 devices with network extension
Overall the very very easy to trigger original issue seems to have been fixed, but with the machine happily Clauding in the background I am still getting some crashes coming from the endpoint security extension albeit it does not seem to be a kernel panic: panic(cpu 9 caller 0xfffffe00420d2984): Kernel tag check fault (expected tagged address: 0xf1fffe1fc44d2fc8) at pc 0xfffffe0041b42a9c, lr 0xc4cdfe0041b42d4c (saved state: 0xfffffebec7bcb370) [...] Panicked task 0xf5fffe3129881c88: 1732 pages, 7 threads: pid 614: com.paloaltonetworks.GlobalProte In full: Panic Trace

Reply to macOS 15.1 Beta 5: Mac App Store unable to install apps "The file “preflight.pfpkg” doesn’t exist"
Apologies everyone if this comes as a double post, I could not find the other ones / not sure the other replies we submitted. @Aleks123 @Ebendigo , I have tried the suggestion @Vatsal Manot suggested but it would not fix the problem for me. Could you please add details to the steps you took to fix the problem? What are the actual permissions of the folder and who is the owner and group for it?

Reply to M5 Pro - macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 crashes almost immediately after connecting to a VPN
Updated the other thread and the reported bug as we still have a crash in what seems like a very very adjacent flow: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/821372?answerId=888146022#888146022 Should I open a new bug in the bug reporter and a new thread here?

Reply to M5 Pro - macOS Tahoe 26.4.1 crashes almost immediately after connecting to a VPN
Sometimes, if I reboot the machine and close ALL of the open programs and connect to the VPN it will not crash, but again not sure if it is just luck of the draw or anything...

Reply to UITextView crash on iOS 18.4 beta
Does it persist on Xcode 16.4 Beta 1 and the latest beta iOS release? The release notes are a bit scarce as they fail to mention other fixes such as the URLSession bug fixed in the Simulator.

Reply to macOS 15.1 Beta 5: Mac App Store unable to install apps "The file “preflight.pfpkg” doesn’t exist"
macOS 15.1 Beta 6 addressed the issue. I had deleted the /Library/AppStore folder, installed the update, rebooted as part of the update process, and once it was all done I could update apps from the Mac App Store again. Closed the FB bug I raised after updating it.
