Xcode Cloud Export Archive Fails with Xcode 26.2 RC
Export archive step fails in Xcode Cloud when using Xcode 26.2 (17C48) RC. The same project exports successfully when switching back to Xcode 26.1 in Xcode Cloud workflow settings. The same project exports successfully when using Xcode 26.2 RC locally. Projects without Apple Watch app do not encounter this issue (not so sure about this). From Xcode Cloud UI: Exporting for App Store Distribution failed. Please download the logs artifact for more information. Run command: 'xcodebuild -exportArchive ... Command exited with non-zero exit-code: 70 From xcodebuild-export-archive.log: error: exportArchive Automatic signing cannot update bundle identifier "io.***.***.watchkitapp". error: exportArchive No profiles for 'io.***.***.watchkitapp' were found error: exportArchive Automatic signing cannot update bundle identifier "io.***.***". error: exportArchive No profiles for 'io.***.***' were found ** EXPORT FAILED ** IDEDistribution: App Store Connect request for store configuration failed for account Session Proxy Provider (Account "Session Proxy Provider": Unable to authenticate with App Store Connect (Error Domain=DVTITunesSoftwareServiceFoundation.DVTServicesSessionProviderCredentialITunesAuthenticationContextError Code=1 "(null)")) DVTServices: Sending request A7605D4E-2892-4B6D-9197-90BD3AB53D67 to <http://172.16.57.4:8089/services/v1/capabilities> Payload: {"urlEncodedQueryParams":"teamId=984L9QX9X5&filter%5BreferenceType%5D=bundle&filter%5BincludeRequestable%5D=true&limit=200"} { "errors": [{ "id": "fb67ecdb-103b-4446-a2db-618fd6bd99e7", "status": "400", "code": "PARAMETER_ERROR.INVALID", "title": "A parameter has an invalid value", "detail": "A parameter 'filter[includeRequestable]' has an invalid value : ''includeRequestable' is not a valid field name.'", "source": { "parameter": "filter[includeRequestable]" } }] } DVTServices: Could not fetch capabilities from network due to error: error = 'A parameter has an invalid value' Workaround Switching Xcode Cloud workflow to use Xcode 26.1 works around the issue. Xcode Cloud: All Targets Suddenly Timeout During Archive
Hi everyone, Starting today, my Xcode Cloud CI workflow can no longer successfully build iOS/macOS/visionOS targets. The Archive step does not report any errors, but the xcodebuild command hangs indefinitely and eventually fails with the following message: The step invocation hit a user timeout. The xcodebuild archive invocation timed out. No activity has been detected on stdout, stderr or the result bundle in 30 minutes. My iOS and macOS targets can still be built, but the build time has increased by 2-3x compared to before. That's interesting. After I removed the visionOS target, the iOS target also failed to build. Additionally, since today, I’ve noticed a significant increase in network-related errors in Xcode Cloud. There have been multiple failures to download dependencies from Homebrew or GitHub. I have confirmed that CI versions which previously built successfully are now failing, while running the same build commands locally works fine. Based on these observations, I suspect there may be an issue with the Xcode Cloud environment itself. Has anyone else encountered similar problems? Any suggestions or updates would be appreciated! Thanks!

Button Glass Style Incorrect in Sheet + ScrollView on Mac Catalyst 26
Hi everyone! I've encountered an issue when using Sheet + ScrollView on Mac Catalyst: the buttons in the toolbar appear with an abnormal gray color. import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { VStack { } .sheet(isPresented: .constant(true)) { Sheet() } } } struct Sheet: View { var body: some View { NavigationStack { ScrollView { // <-- no issue if use List } .toolbar { Button(action: {}) { // <-- 👀 weird gray color Image(systemName: "checkmark") } } } } } Steps to Reproduce: On macOS 26.0 beta 9, use Xcode 26.0 beta 7 to create an iOS project and enable Mac Catalyst. Paste the code above. Select the Mac Catalyst scheme and run the project. The buttons in the toolbar show a strange gray appearance. If you change the ScrollView to a List in the code, the issue does not occur. FB20120285

NavigationSplitView + inspector causes Sidebar state issues on Mac Catalyst
Hi everyone! I've encountered an issue on Mac Catalyst: using the latest inspector modifier causes abnormal Sidebar and Columns state in NavigationSplitView. Sample Code: struct ContentView: View { @State private var isPresented = false var body: some View { NavigationSplitView { List { ForEach(0..<20, id: \.self) { item in Text("Item \(item)") } } } content: { List { ForEach(0..<20, id: \.self) { item in Text("Item \(item)") } } } detail: { List { } } .inspector(isPresented: $isPresented) { Form { } } } } Steps to reproduce: Xcode 16 beta 7, create a new iOS project Paste the code above Enable Mac Catalyst Run on Mac (macOS 15 beta 9) Press Command+N three times to open 3 new windows Click the Sidebar Toggle button The issue occurs (see screenshot below) Through testing, I found that as long as the inspector modifier is attached, the issue occurs. Also, the problem only appears in the 3rd and subsequent newly opened windows—the first two windows work as expected. FB20061521

Has Background Refresh Stopped Working on watchOS 26?
Hi everyone! My Apple Watch app has relied for years on the WKApplication.scheduleBackgroundRefresh(...) method to keep the app updated in the background. The system would reliably trigger WKApplicationDelegate.handle(_:), where I would then schedule the next refresh task (usually 15 minutes later). As stated in the documentation, as long as there is a complication on the watch face, these background tasks should run at a relatively stable frequency. However, this approach seems to have stopped working on watchOS 26. I no longer receive any WKApplicationRefreshBackgroundTask at all. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

iOS 26 Home Screen Widgets Color Rendering Issue
Hi everyone! I've noticed a color rendering issue with Home Screen widgets on iOS 26: the colors displayed in widgets are inconsistent with those shown inside the app. At first, I suspected this might be caused by differences in color spaces, but even after explicitly specifying the color space for SwiftUI.Color or UIColor, the widget colors remain incorrect. Steps to reproduce: Create a new iOS project in Xcode 26 beta 6. Add a new Widget Extension target. Use the following Widget view code: struct MyWidgets: Widget { let kind: String = "MyWidgets" var body: some WidgetConfiguration { StaticConfiguration(kind: kind, provider: Provider()) { entry in let white = Color(.sRGB, red: 1, green: 1, blue: 1) let veryLightGray = Color(.sRGB, red: 0.96, green: 0.96, blue: 0.96) let lightGray = Color(.sRGB, red: 0.9, green: 0.9, blue: 0.9) VStack(spacing: 0) { Rectangle() .foregroundStyle(veryLightGray) // 👈 Rectangle() .foregroundStyle(lightGray) // 👈 } .containerBackground(white, for: .widget) // 👈 } .configurationDisplayName("My Widget") } } ⬆️ In-app, the colors are correct: the top block is a very light gray (white=0.96)✅, and the bottom block is a regular gray (white=0.90)✅. However, on the Home Screen widget, the result is as follows: ⬆️ The top light gray block blends completely into the white background and is indistinguishable; the bottom gray block also appears lighter than it does in-app ❌. This issue occurs both on the simulator and on real devices. (Interestingly, the colors are correct in the Xcode Preview.) Whether I declare colors in code (SwiftUI.Color or UIColor) or in the Asset Catalog, the widget's color rendering does not match expectations. What's even stranger is that if I add an extra pure white block (white=1.0) to the view, it immediately affects all the colors in the widget: This whole behavior makes it very difficult to set accurate colors for widgets on iOS 26. While it seems related to glass effect rendering and color space handling, I still feel there might be a bug in the implementation.

Popover in Toolbar Causes Crash in Catalyst App on macOS 26
Hi everyone, I’ve encountered an issue where using a popover inside the toolbar of a Catalyst app causes a crash on macOS 26 beta 5 with Xcode 26 beta 5. Here’s a simplified code snippet: import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { @State private var isPresentingPopover = false var body: some View { NavigationStack { VStack { } .padding() .toolbar { ToolbarItem { Button(action: { isPresentingPopover.toggle() }) { Image(systemName: "bubble") } .popover(isPresented: $isPresentingPopover) { Text("Hello") .font(.largeTitle) .padding() } } } } } } Steps to reproduce: Create a new iOS app using Xcode 26 beta 5. Enable Mac Catalyst (Match iPad). Add the above code to show a Popover from a toolbar button. Run the app on macOS 26, then click the toolbar button. The app crashes immediately upon clicking the toolbar button. Has anyone else run into this? Any workarounds or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Section Header Overlaps with Cell Text in Plain List Style on iOS 26
Hi everyone, I've noticed that on iOS 26 beta 1 through beta 4, when using a List with the .plain style, the section header overlaps with the cell content below it, as there is no background for the header. This creates a poor visual experience. Additionally, when using NavigationSplitView on iPad, the second column's list always shows this issue. Is this an intentional design change, or just a temporary issue? I haven't found a good workaround so far. Thanks! FB19066489

Icon Composer: Unable to Submit App to App Store Connect After Adding iOS 26 App Icon
Hello, I added a new iOS 26 app icon created with Icon Composer (named AppIcon) to my app, while keeping the previous version's icon (in Asset Catalog format, also named AppIcon). However, I found that once the bundle contains the Icon Composer icon file, the app cannot be submitted to App Store Connect. I received the following App Store Connect errors: ITMS-90022: Missing required icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 10.0. To support older versions of iOS, the icon may be required in the bundle outside of an asset catalog. Make sure the Info.plist file includes appropriate entries referencing the file. See https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/information_property_list/user_interface. ITMS-90023: Missing required icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPad of exactly '152x152' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 10.0. To support older operating systems, the icon may be required in the bundle outside of an asset catalog. Make sure the Info.plist file includes appropriate entries referencing the file. See https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/information_property_list/user_interface. ITMS-91111: Missing app icon - Include a large app icon as a 1024 by 1024 pixel PNG for the 'Any Appearance' image well in the asset catalog of apps built for iOS or iPadOS. Without this icon, apps can't be submitted for review. For details, visit: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/configuring-your-app-icon. Environment: Xcode 26 beta 3 FB: FB18987592

Random exportArchive 70 Error Code When Using Xcode Cloud for Build
Recently, I’ve noticed that the Archive workflow on Xcode Cloud frequently fails randomly with the following error: ❌ Exporting for App Store Distribution failed. Please download the logs artifact for more information I’m not sure if this issue is on my side or if it’s related to Xcode Cloud itself. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

StoreKit Causing Unrelated SwiftUI View to Freeze
Hello everyone! I've encountered an issue related to SwiftUI and StoreKit. Please take a look at the SwiftUI code snippet below: import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { NavigationStack { List { NavigationLink { Page1() } label: { Text("Go to Page 1") } } } } } struct Page1: View { @Environment(\.dismiss) private var dismiss @State private var string: String = "" var body: some View { List { NavigationLink { List { Page2(string: $string) .simpleValue(4) } } label: { Text("Tap this button will freeze the app") } } .navigationTitle("Page 1") } } struct Page2: View { @Binding var string: String? init(string: Binding<String>) { self._string = Binding(string) } var body: some View { Text("Page 2") } } extension EnvironmentValues { @Entry var simpleValue: Int = 3 } extension View { func simpleValue(_ value: Int) -> some View { self.environment(\.simpleValue, value) } } This view runs normally until the following symbol is referenced anywhere in the project: import StoreKit extension View { func notEvenUsed() -> some View { self.manageSubscriptionsSheet(isPresented: .constant(false)) } } It seems that once the project links the View.manageSubscriptionsSheet(isPresented:) method, regardless of whether it's actually used, it causes the above SwiftUI view to freeze. Steps to Reproduce: Clone the repository: https://github.com/gongzhang/StrangeFreeze Open it in Xcode 16 and run on iOS 17-18.1 Navigate to the second page and tap the button, causing the app to freeze. Remove manageSubscriptionsSheet(...), then everything will work fine

Unable to download artifacts from Xcode Cloud
I just discovered that I can no longer download any artifacts from Xcode Cloud, whether from newly built workflows or previous ones. When I try to download in Xcode, it crashes immediately. When downloading from App Store Connect, it redirects to an HTML page with the following content. {"message":"You are not authorized to access this team’s resources."} I've already tried re-logging into my Apple account. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

SFSpeechRecognizer is broken on iOS 18
Hello, I noticed that SFSpeechRecognizer is broken on iOS 18. During a recognition task, it keeps dropping the recognized text on every pause. For example, if you say "how are you fine", it will drop the "how are you" part and only give you "fine" as the result. Say "how are you <pause> fine" // iOS 17 ✅ (perfect final result) How How are How are you How are you. How are you. Fine. // iOS 18 ❌ How How are How are you How are you Fine (the text before the pause is dropped, and fail to recognize the punctuations.) Reproducing the issue: Download the official sample project. Run it on an iOS 18 device or simulator. Say "how are you fine" Only "fine" will be displayed.
