I have the Same issue, i have been waiting for a month after mentioning this issue, created 3 tickets and spoke to online help also , no resolution so far. How do we resolve this. I am an Indian Citizen and Permanent resident of Australia, why woud the metadata be wrongly locked. As apple account region is required for residents, but residents might not be the Citizens.
