Update- Received an email response from apple developer support: I’ve looked into the status of this app. We are currently reviewing and will get back to you as soon as we can. Still no status change in App Store Connect, last update was "waiting for review" from weeks ago. Is there an issue with App Store Connect or does support respond this way to pacify concerned devs?

@Adrian-P completely. Almost a full month waiting for a service we’re paying for is tough. More so considering devs are completely dependent on this process. @anyone at apple- please respond.

Not letting this get buried, still no progress. This is unbelievable.
