A year later and this still hasn't been fixed in iOS. I'm still getting complaints from my app users, got one just now. I'm pointing them at this thread to let them see that Apple has been told and is doing nothing about what causes them to feel cheated when they haven't been. Apple is all about the user experience, right? I opened a case with feedback assistant and was fobbed off with nothing wrong unless you can prove it! How am I supposed to prove this happens!?!? I can show you the countless emails I've had but that probably won't fly due to privacy concerns. You really need to fix this!

App is 12 years old so pre-dates constraints and all other nice UI things that have come since then. Written in Obj C. Yes, I've already tried using a container view but I couldn't get the tableview to behave and stick within the maximum width constraints of its new container. Might revisit. For such a simple thing, limiting the width of table view, which creates such an aesthetically pleasing result on wider non-iphone screens I would have thought Apple might have added something simple to achieve ?

I thought I'd close this one off with what happened incase anyone else ran into this. I opened a support case with Apple and it turned out to be caused by: Our engineering teams found that the transfer caused duplicate App IDs I was asked which App ID I wanted deleted and after I picked one, carefully, the transfer went through. Don't know how I managed to created duplicate App ID's, it's an old App, but I had and that was the sticking point. Transfer was completed successfully. All good now.
