I submitted mine on the same date as you and its still waiting for review. I contacted Apple support about a week ago but still haven't heard back or seen a status change. Im starting to wonder if its a backlog or my app is lost in the queue.

I'm the same, submitted an app on the 2nd of August and its been "waiting for review" since. I contacted Apple support about a week ago with no response. Google took about 5 days to review the Android version of the app.
