/me tosses VM in trash I wish I'd known this before setting up the VM. Sonoma isn't like previous OSes; I can't sacrifice an old machine to it. This means I won't be testing for several months. I'm okay with that, but it's nice to contribute. 😀

I think you probably should use your own ID. I tried to rely on it, but I've watched it with the debugger (probably not in the latest beta) and as rkhamilton said it changes value early in the lifecycle. Unless it's documented somewhere as safe for this purpose, I wouldn't trust it (and possibly not even then).

I'm having (different) problems today: I'm seeing an error in Xcode that says: App Store Connect access for (team) is required. Add an Account in Accounts settings. (email) Unable to authenticate with App Store Connect (email) No App Store Connect access for the team Clicking Manage Accounts shows the account is already there. It's my personal team, so I don't think it's actually a real permission problem. This thread made me feel a lot less stress.

Agreed. Switching to a different navigator seems to speed up the coding assistant exactly as much as a pot's boiling is sped by not watching it.

For anyone who ends up here after a search: Turns out you can't delete the version and there's no rename button, but the version number is an editable text field that you can just change and Save.
