Quick update while waiting in the queue: I did some additional testing on our test devices to verify edge cases with the ATT prompt and the declared tracking domains. Specifically, I confirmed that when a user selects "Ask App not to Track", all network calls to the declared ad tracking domains (googleadservices.com, doubleclick.net, etc.) are properly bypassed, and the game gracefully falls back to non-personalized delivery without any network exceptions or gameplay interruptions. The app is already fully approved, live, and running smoothly on Android / Google Play with this identical ad setup and policy structure, so we are confident in the stability of the implementation. I also double-checked that our App Store Connect "App Privacy" questionnaire answers align 1:1 with the .xcprivacy manifest inside Build 112. I'll update this thread once the submission finishes review in case anyone else encountering the same NSPrivacyTrackingDomains configuration finds it helpful!

Vaqui v1.0 has now been approved and published on the App Store, so my original question about expense-sharing apps and App Review has officially survived its first review. 😄 I've also submitted Vaqui v1.0.1 for iOS review, while the same update has already been approved on Google Play. The new version adds several improvements: • 📦 Group Management — archive completed trips/events and leave groups securely once balances are settled. • 📊 Smart Activity Log — track exchange-rate changes, expense edits, and transactions in real time. • 🔒 Read-Only Mode — archived groups are protected from further changes, while PDF reports remain available. • ⚡ Improved WhatsApp invitations — smoother deep linking when joining a group. • 🛠️ Performance & stability improvements. The iOS version is currently Waiting for Review. It's been interesting to see how the same app behaves across Google Play and the App Store, especially with features involving shared expenses, balances, currencies and external payments. Just a small follow-up while Vaqui is waiting for review. 🙂 I realized that the important distinction in my question may be whether calculating a balance between users is considered a financial service, even when the app never touches the money itself. In Vaqui, the actual payment always happens outside the app. Vaqui only records the expense, calculates the resulting balances, and optionally lets users mark an external payment as settled. If anyone has experience submitting a similar expense-sharing app, I'd really appreciate hearing how App Review treated it. Thanks!

The assistance and clarity provided during the review process have been greatly appreciated. Now the app is back in the queue, and I'm once again waiting for the review outcome 🤞 As always, learning something new with every iteration.

Another small update 😄 The new 2.0.2 build is now showing as “Waiting for Review” in App Store Connect after the latest branding and asset adjustments. At this point I believe everything required has been completed correctly, but as a developer still learning the App Store ecosystem, there’s always that little feeling of: “Hopefully I’m not forgetting one last thing somewhere in App Store Connect” 😅 For now, I guess the app simply waits for review 🤞

Quick update 😄 The submission process is now complete and the app is officially waiting for review. One interesting thing I noticed coming from Google Play publishing is how much more detailed App Store Connect metadata and privacy configuration are.
