Reply to First App Store review submitted after publishing on Google Play 🚀
Final update 🎉 The journey has reached a happy ending. Today I received the "Ready for Distribution" notification for my app and it has successfully completed the App Review process. What started as a first submission became a valuable learning experience involving App Store policies, branding, metadata, privacy requirements, support information, and several review iterations. I would like to thank the App Review team for their guidance throughout the process. The feedback helped identify issues that were not immediately obvious from the developer side and ultimately led to a better final product. To everyone currently navigating their first submission: keep going. Sometimes the review process feels like a puzzle, but every iteration teaches you something useful. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷 and thanks to everyone in the forums who shared their experiences along the way. See you in the next app 🚀

Once More 'Round the Sun After receiving additional guidance from the App Review team, including screenshots that helped identify the remaining concerns, we were able to make further adjustments and submit an updated version. The assistance and clarity provided during the review process have been greatly appreciated. Now the app is back in the queue, and I'm once again waiting for the review outcome 🤞 As always, learning something new with every iteration.

Another small update 😄 The new 2.0.2 build is now showing as “Waiting for Review” in App Store Connect after the latest branding and asset adjustments. At this point I believe everything required has been completed correctly, but as a developer still learning the App Store ecosystem, there’s always that little feeling of: “Hopefully I’m not forgetting one last thing somewhere in App Store Connect” 😅 For now, I guess the app simply waits for review 🤞

Quick update 😄 During the review process we received feedback regarding visual branding and potential resemblance to third-party content. Thankfully, after carefully reviewing the guidelines and making several adjustments to the app assets and presentation, we were able to address everything and submit an updated version for review. Honestly, this whole process has been a valuable learning experience about App Store policies, branding and platform expectations 🚀

Quick update 😄 The submission process is now complete and the app is officially waiting for review. One interesting thing I noticed coming from Google Play publishing is how much more detailed App Store Connect metadata and privacy configuration are. It definitely forced me to improve several aspects of the app presentation and structure. Still learning a lot through the process 🚀

Small update regarding our submission: Yesterday evening we received an email indicating that build 1.2.8 (128) was approved for TestFlight beta testing. Thank you very much for that. However, we recently submitted version 1.3.0 for App Store review, which is currently still showing as “Waiting for Review” in App Store Connect. I just wanted to mention this here in case the two submissions crossed paths in the system, and to kindly confirm that everything looks correct on our side for the latest version currently awaiting review. As always, we truly appreciate the time and effort the App Review team dedicates to supporting developers. Kind regards, José Rodríguez

Small update regarding our submission: The build is still currently in “Waiting for Review”, so I just wanted to kindly check whether everything looks correct on our side in App Store Connect. Since the previous version of the app was already approved and is currently live on the App Store, we wanted to make sure that this update — which mainly includes a few UI improvements and small usability adjustments — does not have any missing metadata or configuration that could delay the review process. If anyone from the App Review team happens to see this and can confirm that the submission looks complete from your side, we would really appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time and for the work you do supporting developers. Kind regards, José Rodríguez

Reply to App submitted for client launch – review timing question
I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the assistance and attention provided regarding our recent app submission. We noticed that the situation was quickly investigated after our inquiry on the Developer Forums, and shortly after that our application became available. We truly appreciate the time and effort your team invests in supporting developers and maintaining the quality of the App Store ecosystem. As an independent developer releasing a first application, the professionalism and responsiveness of the App Review and App Store Connect teams make a very positive impression. It is clear how much care goes into ensuring that the platform remains reliable for both developers and users. Thank you again to everyone involved in the review process and for helping make this launch possible. Kind regards, José Rodríguez Developer – CordobaFood App

Reply to App submitted for client launch – review timing question
Thank you for the replies and for sharing your experiences. Since this is our first app submission, we just wanted to double-check that our App Store Connect metadata and review information are complete and clear for the App Review team. The app is a simple B2B ordering tool for registered wholesale clients and includes reviewer login instructions in the App Review Information section. If anyone from the App Review team happens to see this thread and notices anything missing in our submission, we would really appreciate the guidance. App ID: 6759172913 Thank you again for your time. Kindest regards Jose Rodriguez

Thank you so much for your quick response and for looking into this! I have already addressed the technical issue regarding Guideline 5.1.2 by implementing the ATT prompt correctly on the Welcome Screen in the latest build (1.0.4+5), which is currently 'Waiting for Review'. I truly appreciate the guidance. Looking forward to a successful review! Kindest regards, Jose Rodriguez
