Having the same issue without solution. Dear Apple, users should be able to use a different email address for security reasons.

We have a similar issue with recording from the microphone, where also a buffer size of 1024 is requested - and callbacks come with a 1104 sized buffer. I might be wrong, but it appears that data exceeding 1024 bytes is actually garbage or empty.
