Does anyone have a realistic timeline for App Review?
I submitted my app (Submission ID: 5154cb1a-ea2e-42de-beaa-5856f4a3f680) Sunday morning, July 19th.
This is a first time submission for review of an app and a first time submission on my account (though I've, aspirationally, paid for the account for years); so I had originally anticipated review taking awhile. However, I took the 24-48 hour estimate on the website and in the E-Mail on face value and postponed all other projects so I would be available for any revisions or launch-day problems; in hindsight a terrible waste of time.
Can Apple provide:
A reasonable estimate of how long App Review actually takes?
Update the E-Mails and/or Website and/or pin a thread here accordingly?
If I've made some sort of mistake that's keeping my submission in purgatory, please advise.
Somewhat accurate estimates would help developers immensely to schedule launches and communicate expected timelines to management. Ironically, Beta reviews were far faster than expected/advertised.
