We also used an AI agent (Claude Code) to automate uploads, mostly via Xcode and fastlane with the official App Store Connect API key, which should be legitimate. We're now checking our logs to see if any step drove the browser on Apple's sites. No decision yet: Apple said "under review" on 15 Oct. Today I also petitioned via /contact/request/app-review/termination/ (works with the terminated ID). Will share what we find.

I had tried that termination form on 14 Oct and got an error, but today it loaded while signed in to my terminated account (it even pre-filled my old team), and I got "We've received your request." For others: sign in with the terminated Apple ID and go directly to developer.apple.com/contact/request/app-review/termination/. I'll post an update if I hear back. Good luck!

That matches what I've done: the App Review Board appeal form isn't available to a terminated account, so I used the "Need assistance with accessing your developer account" contact form. Apple Support replied on Oct 15 that the request is under review. I'm preparing the chronological record you describe and will provide it through that case when Apple follows up, rather than opening new requests.
