There's also no where that indicates the max url query size for the map snapshots, it seems based off my testing to be ~5000 characters?

The mapkit pricing right now is unclear In the maps usage developer page it implies that you get 25k per MONTH but the snapshots landing page says you get 25k per DAY.

doesn't seem like apple has opened this altitude api or elevation data up to developers. I would LOVE it if they did... right now google elevation or Stadia maps are the only real options and both are over priced. please apple!

It seems that even Apple's own Activity app would like this feature, too. When you go to export a GPS workout from Apple's Activity app, it actually screenshots the Javascript map with the gradients, presumably because calling the Snapshot API would not work with > 10 gradient values. Ex:

i'm having the same error as everyone else. seems like they must've released something new to the api that checks build uploads. hopefully they can submit a fix soon as I don't have a clue how to resolve by changing anything on my end. seems crazy!
