This is an unacceptable user experience and damn apple should address this.

I have the same problem in latest Chrome, Safari and Firefox browesers on Mac running Monterey 12.0.1. The same happens in the Connect app on mac and iPhone, as well as Safari iphone browser. This is ridiculous to say the least. This problem is being reported for half of the decade.
