My apologies. I did not consider the potential for others to be unfamiliar with what I termed "a build". To be more explicit: I created an archive of my app by selecting the "Archive" menu item from the "Product" menu in Xcode. That produced an archive listing available in the Organizer window. From the Organizer, I clicked the "Distribute App" button and followed the steps to upload my app to Apple through the "App Store Connect" option. Does that clarify things any better?

Interesting. I definitely don't have that + button as an option. Organizer doesn't show any error though. The "Status Log" just shows two entries: "Prepared archive for uploading" and "Uploaded to Apple".

I did try removing all the toolbar items from the misbehaving app, and it still did it, which I found very puzzling. displayModeToggle changes the Sidebar content from a List to a Grid. I am the author of this code.
