What's silly is that "gemini" isn't the name of my app at all. I did pick a different name. It just happens to be a browser for a network known as Gemini. This is an absurdly pedantic use of word-warfare. It sounds like I will have to get equally pedantic in order to avoid the arbitrary string scanning.

Shoebox is the app that behaves. This tile-grid branch has the additional toolbar items. It should work with Xcode 26.3 and up. It targets macOS 26. Relay is the app that misbehaves. The main branch has the toolbar items. It should work with Xcode 26.3 and up as well. It also targets macOS 26. It's a Matrix client, so to get into MainView, you'll need to log in with an account on a Matrix home server.

I did try removing all the toolbar items from the misbehaving app, and it still did it, which I found very puzzling. displayModeToggle changes the Sidebar content from a List to a Grid. I am the author of this code.

Interesting. I definitely don't have that + button as an option. Organizer doesn't show any error though. The "Status Log" just shows two entries: "Prepared archive for uploading" and "Uploaded to Apple".

My apologies. I did not consider the potential for others to be unfamiliar with what I termed "a build". To be more explicit: I created an archive of my app by selecting the "Archive" menu item from the "Product" menu in Xcode. That produced an archive listing available in the Organizer window. From the Organizer, I clicked the "Distribute App" button and followed the steps to upload my app to Apple through the "App Store Connect" option. Does that clarify things any better?
