I’m experiencing the same issue as an individual developer living in Armenia. App Store Connect has automatically filled in Armenia as my country of citizenship on line 2 of the W-8BEN, and the field is locked. Armenia is my country of residence, but I am not an Armenian citizen. I contacted Apple Finance more than two weeks ago and sent a follow-up, but have only received an automatic acknowledgement so far. This is blocking our tax setup and our launch with in-app subscriptions. I haven’t submitted the W-8BEN because I cannot certify the incorrect citizenship information. Has anyone managed to get Finance to reset the prefilled information or accept a correctly completed W-8BEN manually? Could someone from Apple clarify the procedure for individual developers whose country of residence differs from their country of citizenship?
