It functions but they are saying they want me to fix the layout on ipad. My app has a lot of features. I'm already exhausted with finishing the iphone app. no one would even want to use it on ipad anyway.. it is better and more practical on mobile. Also, I remember their calculator app does not run on ipad--so that has to be a thing? I've seen others say they weren't required to do this upon informing the reviewer. Hope nothing has changed

That's weird. I've seen other developers say that all they had to do was tell the reviewer that it is not meant for ipad and they bypassed that. They did not have to optimize for ipad. Quite a few have said that on other platforms. This was the case for me as well earlier on. It just came back up again with another reviewer. The developers I am speaking of only said that once you add iPad as a platform and publish, you'll forever have to continue optimizing it for ipad and it can't be undone
