I'm experiencing the same issue. It's stopping me from launching my first app.

I have the same issue. Every time I open my terminal, it's spammed with this message.

My users who use special characters can no longer log in to my app. If I fix this for iOS 17, it will break for users still on iOS 16. Great.

This is really too bad. It makes any analysis or integration with mood tracking unfeasible.. The only viable choice is to not use apples mood tracking, but track it separately in my app.
