Reply to Can't update Live Activity from app with ActivityKit when app is running in the background with background audio playing.
Apple responded to my report from Sept 2022 (FB11608466) and asked to verify this issue with iOS 16.5 RC. However from my testing, this problem still occurs with iOS 16.5.
