Same issue here, Not showing in list or in search, can't add because "A user with this email address already exists on this team."

linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation), by opening my project in visual studio, going to the Visual Studio Menu -> check for updates, and then installing everything. It updated Xamarin and some other tools.

Wholehearted agree from me :( this is very sad news to force all those perfectly nice computers to end up on shelves, resold, or even worse, landfills.
