Im in the same boat now too. Can you please post a follow up how you resolved this issue?

I realize this is an olde post but I need some help filling out the business section before i sent in my app. When filling out the W9 - as a individual - it only allows me to select "non exempt" however after selecting that all of 2. in the certificate section is crossed out. Meaning Apple will withhold 24 percent. Is this normal? Since this cant be changed once submitted i wanted to be sure. I contacted support but never heard back. Any pro here with some know how would be appreciated.
