I came here to poke around because my update to an already approved app has been “In Review“ all day. I know it hasn’t been terribly long, but I’m still curious if it’s time for the annual/semi-annual slow down... Sometimes I wonder if reviews get slower during summer months due to people taking time off? Who knows. I just noticed that the last time I noticed a major app review slow down and came here and posted about it was about 1 year ago. I think they’re short staffed in July and August. Or more people submit apps in July and August? Or things break in July/August? 🤠

It looks like there’s something going on based on multiple posts like this today. A backlog. Could be technical issues. Could be a massive number of apps needing to be reviewed. You probably don’t want to expedite multiple times. I doubt that will help.

Did your app end up getting reviewed? I've been waiting just as long or longer and I'm try to gauge how much longer I might have to wait.

I’m in the same boat. It seems like this happens a lot. It could be due to the time of year and more Apple employees being on vacation. Or, they are short staffed in general.

I did not get contacted like the support team reply states.
