Hi team, We were wondering what's the correct way of configuring a test environment with Apple Pay. Not sure if this is explicitly mentioned in the documentation, but in order to avoid having the same certificates shared between test and production, should we have a different merchant identifier (and pair of certificates) for test purposes only? The above is the main question. However, two follow up questions: Do you know if payment processors usually allow the merchant ID to be configured, so that only payments generated with the prod certificates can be accepted? Is there any risk of someone getting hold of the certificates generated for the test environment (which are usually less safe than production) and using that to process payments in production?

Hi team @ Apple, Is an MPAN always provided with an ApplePayPaymentToken? I heard there are old devices that will provide only a DPAN. Is this correct, and do we need to support the case where only a DPAN is present? I.e. what percentage of devices doesn't support MPAN? Thanks

Hi there. We're a large team integrating Apple Pay to a payment system. We'd like to start building the code that decrypts an ApplePayPaymentToken before the web client code that initiates the payment request is complete. Is there a way to obtain a sample ApplePayPaymentToken for our account to ensure that our decryption code / keys / certificates are configured properly? (Or the only way to obtain an ApplePayPaymentToken would be through completing of a payment request, i.e. step 29 of page 21 of this document: https://developer.apple.com/apple-pay/Apple-Pay-Merchant-Integration-Guide.pdf) Thank you

Hi team at Apple, here is a scenario we came across: The order of priority of payment methods in Apple Wallet follows: Credit Debit Apple Cash Our app displays a payment sheet that excludes credit cards. Instead of a debit card, the default payment option shown to the user on the payment sheet is Apple Cash. Is this a known issue or have we configured something wrong in our end?
