Developer Support communication failure prevents completion of Unlisted Distribution process
Hello Apple Developer Team, I have been trying to complete the Unlisted App Distribution process for more than one month, but I am completely blocked because the communication channel with Apple Developer Support appears to be broken. This is NOT another Unlisted Distribution request. This post is about a Developer Support communication failure that prevents us from completing the process you instructed us to follow. BACKGROUND Our application is an internal employee authentication (2FA) application used only inside a single company. • It cannot be used by the public. • It requires an activation QR code issued by our IT department. • It has no public functionality. • It is free. • There are no purchases or subscriptions. • Around 500–1000 employees are currently waiting to install it. Unlisted Distribution is exactly the correct distribution method for this application. WHAT HAPPENED We first requested Unlisted Distribution. Developer Support instructed us to create a NEW public App Store record and submit a NEW Unlisted request for the new App ID. We followed every instruction exactly. New App ID: 6788578214 Existing cases: 102921384034 102938885763 102948623316 THE REAL PROBLEM Every support request behaves exactly the same. We submit the case. We immediately receive the automatic acknowledgement email saying the case has been created. A few days later the case history changes to: "Email with Apple Developer Support" However... NO actual reply is delivered. Not to Inbox. Not to Spam. Not to Junk. Not to Trash. Nothing. We checked every mailbox on every email address associated with our developer account. The reply simply never arrives. Even worse, unlike App Review Resolution Center, Developer Support does not provide a web portal where we can read the actual reply. The case history only says that an email was sent. There is nothing we can open. There is nothing we can read. There is nothing we can reply to. Therefore we have absolutely no way to know what Apple Developer Support is trying to tell us. WHY THIS CREATES AN IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION App Review tells us: "Contact Developer Support." Developer Support apparently replies... ...but we never receive those replies. Since we cannot read Developer Support's responses, we cannot continue the Unlisted Distribution process. As a result, we are trapped in an endless loop. PHONE SUPPORT Please do not resolve this by asking us to schedule an English phone call. Our team does not have English-speaking staff available for technical discussions. This is exactly why I am using ChatGPT to help me write this post in English. Written communication is the only practical communication method for us. OUR REQUEST Could someone please help determine: Why Developer Support replies are never delivered to us. Whether the replies can be resent. Whether our communication issue can be escalated internally. Whether someone from Apple can coordinate with the Developer Support team using the case numbers above. We are not asking anyone here to approve Unlisted Distribution. We simply need to restore communication with Developer Support so we can continue the official process they instructed us to follow. After more than a month, we are still completely blocked because we cannot read any Developer Support replies. Any guidance from Apple would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you very much.
