I have created a privately distributed app, for our employees only. I distribute the app using codes.
Some of the employees have their phones set to automatically offload apps. When my private app is offloaded, tapping on the app brings up the message
Unable to install "<app name>"
The app is no longer available on the App store
The options are Keep or Delete.
However, if they go into the app store purchases, and find the app, they can download it again just fine.
Is there a setting I need to set in appstore connect to make it so it can be downloaded automatically? Is this a bug/known limitation of privately distributed apps?
