iPhone only App now requiring iPad Suppor

My app has always been iPad only, however I submitted a new build and created a new version in App Store Connect, and am now being asked for iPad screenshots (which I can't provide) and my app is being rejected due to crashes on iPad (which we do not support).

I never changed anything in the build or the new version to add support for iPad and in looking at past version that is current available for sale, I never had to supply iPad screenshots before.

The resolution centre has been very unhelpful, saying that my submission needs to remove support for iPad. I never added support for iPad and have no why App Store Connect things I did, and there is seemingly no option to revert this as a setting.

Has anyone else run into this?

Hi @bevtri, you might want to clarify this, as you start by saying "My app has always been iPad only", which seems to contradict the rest of your post.

Sorry, iPhone only. That is a typo. My app has always been iPhone only.
