I have implemented support for promo codes using StoreKit’s built-in SubscriptionStoreView and have created subscription promo codes in App Store Connect.
When pressing the “Redeem Code” button in the SubscriptionStoreView, the “redeem code view” is presented. However, when trying to redeem a code using a released version of the app (downloaded from the App Store), I receive an error message saying the code cannot be redeemed.
Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Hi, I have the same problem and I've created a post about it yesterday as well... my codes are not working as reported by people so the app launch is not great. Still I got no answers
I can confirm that this is happening for my users as well. I've had to tell them to redeem the code through the App Store app as a workaround instead of through my app, which has led to a lot of confusion. Should we just remove the .redeemCode StoreButtonKind for now until it's fixed?
I also have the same problem with SubscriptionStoreView and .redeemCode button. I have sent feedback to Apple...
