Apple just introduced a new Challenges feature in Game Center (WWDC 2025). I have Game Center enabled for my app and have working leaderboards (and achievements). Now I want to implement challenges (connected to my leaderboards). But the Game Center Challenges not showing in App Store Connect or Xcode 16.4

I have a working GameCenterResources file in Xcode and it allows me to add Achievement, Leaderboard, Leaderboard Set, but no Challenges.

I'm based out of Europe. Any ideas?

If you're attending WWDC25 there's a Metal & game technologies group lab today at 4PM PST. This would be a good question to ask there.

After some research, it looks like Xcode 16.4 does not support Challenges yet. It should become part of the next major version of Xcode (version Xcode 2026) as it is mentioned in the release notes: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode-release-notes/xcode-26-release-notes

Still very weird that Apple is demoing this at WWDC and not mentioning that you need to work on the beta of Xcode to get it to even work.....

I have not yet tried Xcode 26 to see if it is working....

Thank you but I did/do not attend WWDC25. Is there any other way you can help? How can I see challenges in App Store Connect?
