Hello. I was working on a Unity game for iPhone, but Apple said that it is impossible to prohibit downloading to iPad. They tested it on iPad Air 5, and for some reason the game did not work correctly - nothing happened when launched, although everything was fine in the simulator and in the real iPhone. Please tell me what to do?
Problem with testing
Apple are right - all iPhone apps can run on an iPad, so you need to test that your app will run on an iPad.
You said: "everything was fine in the simulator and in the real iPhone", but you don't say whether you tried it in the iPad Simulator or just the iPhone Simulator?
I suggest you build your app and run it on an iPad Air 5 Simulator, and see whether it works. If it doesn't, you'll be able to fix it and re-submit it for approval.
If you comment on a response it doesn't mark the thread as having had any responses, so it doesn't look like the thread has had any updates.
You need to reply to posts rather than comment.
Anyway, you say you've tried it on the iPad Simulator... what happened? Did it work or not?
You're really not providing even the bare minimum information for us to help you. If you try something you need to tell us what happened or we have to ask you what happened, and it just takes longer to get a solution.
So, what happened? Did your app work or not?
Yes, everything is correct on the iPad simulator. When you launch the application, the video should start and a text caption should appear (made in Unity). Even on real Androids, everything works correctly, but when Apple tests on the iPad Air 5, it seems like the video does not start and the text does not appear. Maybe the script is not processed. I will be glad to answer the necessary questions
