TestFlight builds expired across multiple apps; new builds cannot be installed (“Requested app is not available or doesn’t exist”)

Hi,

I’m experiencing a TestFlight issue affecting multiple apps in my account.

Issue summary:

• Several TestFlight builds across all of my apps expired at the same time.

• After uploading new replacement builds, neither I nor my testers are able to install them.

• Installation fails with the message: “Could not install {App Name}. The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.”

• The build shows as processed and available in App Store Connect.

• Testers are already invited and active.

• No redeem code is required.

I am seeing the same issue on my own device as well.

What I’ve tried:

• Uploading new builds (incremented version + build number).

• Confirmed builds are visible and available in App Store Connect.

• Removing and re-adding testers.

• Logging out of the app.

• Deleting the app from the device.

• Restarting the device.

• Reinstalling directly from TestFlight.

• Restarting TestFlight.

Despite this, installation consistently fails with the “requested app is not available or doesn’t exist” error.

Expected behavior:

• New TestFlight builds should be installable once processed and available.

• Testers (and the developer) should be able to install directly from TestFlight.

• Expired builds should not block installation of newly uploaded builds.

Additional context:

• This started immediately after multiple TestFlight builds expired across my apps.

• All affected apps were previously installing and testing without issue.

• Apple Developer Support has been contacted, but I wanted to check whether others are seeing the same behavior or if there is a known workaround.

Has anyone else encountered TestFlight builds becoming unavailable across multiple apps at once, or an install failure after replacing expired builds

@DTS Engineer

I am experiencing the same account-wide TestFlight installation issue.

Multiple existing builds unexpectedly became Expired, and newly uploaded builds appear normally with approximately 90 days remaining but cannot be installed.

The installation error is:

“The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.”

I have filed a Feedback Assistant report including the affected App IDs and screenshots:

FB24959814

I also have an open Apple Developer Support case:

102978486151

The issue is still reproducible today.

Could you please route/correlate this Feedback ID with the ongoing TestFlight investigation?

Thank you.

@DTS Engineer I am experiencing the same issue. Discovered all builds were expired this morning, include one that was Beta Review approved yesterday.
I've submitted Feedback: FB24988779 Thanks for all the help!

I am also having this issue, do any of you use app store CLI (ASC) tool or anything that maybe got us flagged for automation or something? @Pennyfea @pclslopes @ahmedebaid

This same problem is plaguing all of our apps also. One was maybe 2 weeks old and the other was in the queue for review.

@DTS Engineer I've logged a FB Assistant ticket 3 days ago... FB24995090 Any idea if we can get this globally resolved? Looks like a lot of people are affected.

Same issue here and still unresolved as of 5 Oct 2026.

All of our existing TestFlight builds suddenly expired, and both Internal and External Testing stopped working. New builds process successfully and App Store Connect shows Internal Testing as active, but internal testers still cannot install the app.

For External Testing, we are receiving:

HTTP 422 – ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING “Beta contract is missing for the app.”

Our agreements have already been accepted and appear active.

We contacted Apple Developer Support and were told on 3 Oct that the issue should be resolved within 48 hours, and to upload another build after that period.

We have now waited the full 48 hours, but unfortunately the issue is still not resolved.

Apple Developer Support Case: 102980144352 Apple ID: 6811815580

Could the DTS/TestFlight team please help investigate or route our case to the appropriate engineering team? This is currently blocking both our Internal and External TestFlight testing.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi Albert / DTS team. Please help escalate FB25082576 (Developer Support case 102987866400). Eight apps have prematurely Expired builds, including one uploaded today. API external beta review submission returns HTTP 422 ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING. Membership is active and the Developer Program License Agreement is accepted. App IDs and build numbers are in the Feedback report. Please route this to TestFlight engineering. Thank you.

@DTS Engineer @

I have 48 apps and all builds show expired. While I'm able to upload new builds, I am unable to install them via TestFlight

@Chip_E And you have a bug filed with an FB number we can route to the TestFlight team to check on your 48 apps privately?

If you do please post the FB here for me to follow up if you do not I would suggest to file the bug with links to your developer account.

Hey Albert, thanks for your assistance and guidance. Much appreciated.

I opened a Bug Report, the number is FB25101893

@Chip_E Thanks, routing it to the correct team right now, keep an eye on your Feedback Assistant

@DTS Engineer Our issue was resolved by Apple Support last week. However after we submitted a new build for Beta Review which was approved, we came in this morning to discover ALL builds have been expired again! Feedback Submitted: FB25108630 and Apple Support contacted via previous ticket: 102980163390

@DTS Engineer

I've been experiencing the same account-wide issue, it started the night of October 2-3, 2026.

All TestFlight builds for my app changed to Expired at once, including one with ~90 days remaining. A new build processes, but adding it to a tester group fails with "There was an error processing your request," and internal testers, including me, get "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist." No email or notice from Apple; membership and agreements are active.

I opened a support case on October 4 but haven't heard back. Case ID: 102985736456

Feedback filed with the App ID, Team ID, builds, and screenshots: FB25127631

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Albert / DTS team,

I have filed Feedback Assistant report FB25170197 for this TestFlight installation issue. Could you please route/correlate it with the TestFlight engineering investigation?

Affected app: TattooForge AI Tattoo Maker App Store Connect App ID: 6778031109 Bundle ID: com.johnescobar.tattooforgeai Current build: 1.2.12 (24)

On October 12, 2026, 15 previous builds expired simultaneously before their 90-day availability periods ended. All 15 have the same expiration timestamp: 2026-10-12T13:13:37Z. I did not manually expire them.

The replacement build uploaded on October 13 processes successfully (VALID, not expired) and its internalBuildState is IN_BETA_TESTING. It is assigned to my internal group, and I am the only internal tester with an accepted email invitation. However, installing build 24 fails with “The requested app is not available or doesn't exist.”

Devices: iPhone 14 and iPhone 16 Pro Max; iOS 27; TestFlight 4.4.0. Developer membership and the relevant agreements are active, with no export compliance blocker shown.

The report includes the full app/account identifiers, verified App Store Connect states, and reproduction steps: https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/feedback/25170197

This is blocking internal testing. Thank you for your help. HunCut

@DTS Engineer Same account-wide issue on my team (Team ID 53D63G4KNN, Individual account). Earlier TestFlight builds across my apps were marked Expired before their 90-day window (one uploaded Oct 4, 2026 was Expired by Oct 9). New builds process to VALID / IN_BETA_TESTING and appear in TestFlight with 90 days remaining, but internal installs fail with "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist." Membership and all agreements are Active, nothing pending.

  • Feedback: FB25171013 (sysdiagnose attached)
  • Developer Support case: 102991651677 (opened Oct 9, 2026, no reply yet)
  • Affected App IDs include 6821114300 and 6822148194

Could you please route this to the TestFlight team? Thank you.

@DTS Engineer Hi Albert, could you route FB25115946 to the TestFlight team too? Same problem as everyone else here, team HT54L8D86F.

On Oct 8 all TestFlight builds of our app Yepdo (app ID 6820170233) expired at once, although they were only a day or two old. The current build 1.0 (2610081313) shows as valid and in beta testing, but installing it from TestFlight fails with "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist". Submitting it for external review gives 422 BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING. All agreements are active.

Support case 102990445640 has been open since Oct 8, no reply so far. We're ready to roll the app out to more testers, but right now that's simply not possible.

Thanks a lot!

@DTS Engineer I have the same issue FB24959814 (All TestFlight builds on team VT57ZY76P8 expired at once; new builds cannot be installed or submitted)

I went ahead and routed all the FB numbers posted here to the TestFlight team. Thanks for your patience on this one.

@DTS Engineer Hi Albert, same account-wide issue here. Could you please route FB25200048 to the TestFlight team?

Team 636X9S3C9H (Individual), app Fight Stop, App ID 6822293543.

  • Started right after my membership renewal on Oct 14, 2026 (Program License Agreement re-accepted, Free Apps Agreement active from Oct 14).
  • Builds 1.0.0 (3) to (7), uploaded Oct 13-14, all became Expired at the same time.
  • New builds 1.0.0 (8) and (9) are VALID and assigned to my internal group, but installing fails with "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist".
  • External beta review submission of build (9) returns 422 ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING (still reproducible today, Oct 15).
  • All agreements and DSA are active, nothing pending.

Developer Support case: 102996736901

Thank you!

Hi @DTS Engineer, I am also facing the same issue. I submitted a report: FB25201093

@rashid-khabeer routed thanks!

Albert  WWDR

Hi Albert / DTS team,

I’m experiencing the same issue with my app, Heidi & Matt.

A build uploaded on 11 October unexpectedly showed as expired on 12 October, well before its 90-day expiry. Replacement builds processed successfully and were assigned to our internal testing group, but installation still fails with:

“Could not install Heidi & Matt. The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.”

Uploading new versions and restarting the iPhone have not resolved it. The updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement has also been accepted. The app installs and runs successfully when installed directly through Xcode.

I have an existing Apple Developer Support case, 102994559872, and have followed up today, 15 October.

Could you please help route this to the TestFlight team? Should I also submit a separate Feedback Assistant report and add its FB number here?

Thank you for your help.

@Sorted69 Thanks for your post, yes, I would recommend to actually provide us a bug filed to move this over to the team working on the issue. Is the issue in TestFlight correct?

Once you open the bug report, please post the FB number here for my reference.

Hi Albert, yes — the issue is specifically TestFlight installation/distribution.

I have now submitted Feedback Assistant report FB25205808: https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/feedback/25205808

It includes the affected app and build details, the premature expiry, the exact installation error, and our existing Developer Support case 102994559872. Direct Xcode installation works.

@DTS Engineer (Albert), I’m still experiencing this issue and have submitted FB25217370 with the affected app IDs and reproduction details.

Our original TestFlight builds expired unexpectedly soon after upload. Five replacement builds uploaded today, October 16, all processed successfully and show Testing with 90 days remaining, but all five fail to install with “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.” For Threadlight Atelier, the tester is confirmed Accepted and build 0.1 (2) is assigned to the internal testing group.

Affected app IDs (all version 0.1, build 2): Threadlight Atelier: 6820303494 Tidecraft Town: 6820303699 Pocket Convoy: 6820293282 Relic Relay: 6820301889 Second Chance Workshop: 6820302668

Could you please help route FB25217370 to the TestFlight team investigating installation failures? Thank you.
