First App Store review submitted after publishing on Google Play 🚀

Hi everyone!

Today I finally submitted my first iOS app for App Store review after previously publishing the Android version on Google Play.

App ID: 6771439707

The app was developed with Flutter and the process was a very interesting learning experience, especially around:

App Privacy configuration screenshots and metadata archive/distribution process App Store Connect setup adapting branding/assets to platform guidelines

Coming from Android publishing, I have to admit the Apple review pipeline feels much stricter and more detail-oriented 😄 but also very polished once everything is correctly configured.

I just wanted to thank the community because many forum posts helped me solve issues during the submission process.

Now waiting for review results 🤞

Greetings from Argentina!

Final update 🎉

The journey has reached a happy ending.

Today I received the "Ready for Distribution" notification for my app and it has successfully completed the App Review process.

What started as a first submission became a valuable learning experience involving App Store policies, branding, metadata, privacy requirements, support information, and several review iterations.

I would like to thank the App Review team for their guidance throughout the process. The feedback helped identify issues that were not immediately obvious from the developer side and ultimately led to a better final product.

To everyone currently navigating their first submission: keep going. Sometimes the review process feels like a puzzle, but every iteration teaches you something useful.

See you in the next app 🚀

Quick update 😄

The submission process is now complete and the app is officially waiting for review.

One interesting thing I noticed coming from Google Play publishing is how much more detailed App Store Connect metadata and privacy configuration are. It definitely forced me to improve several aspects of the app presentation and structure.

Still learning a lot through the process 🚀

Small update 🚀

Just received the “In Review” status notification from App Store Connect for version 2.0.1 😄

Honestly pretty thrilled to have reached this stage after all the work involved in preparing the app, assets, privacy details and submission process.

Now the final wait begins 🤞

Usually, review lasts for a few hours. Wish you good.

Quick update 😄

During the review process we received feedback regarding visual branding and potential resemblance to third-party content.

Thankfully, after carefully reviewing the guidelines and making several adjustments to the app assets and presentation, we were able to address everything and submit an updated version for review.

Honestly, this whole process has been a valuable learning experience about App Store policies, branding and platform expectations 🚀

Another small update 😄

The new 2.0.2 build is now showing as “Waiting for Review” in App Store Connect after the latest branding and asset adjustments.

At this point I believe everything required has been completed correctly, but as a developer still learning the App Store ecosystem, there’s always that little feeling of:

“Hopefully I’m not forgetting one last thing somewhere in App Store Connect” 😅

For now, I guess the app simply waits for review 🤞

Once More 'Round the Sun

After receiving additional guidance from the App Review team, including screenshots that helped identify the remaining concerns, we were able to make further adjustments and submit an updated version.

The assistance and clarity provided during the review process have been greatly appreciated.

Now the app is back in the queue, and I'm once again waiting for the review outcome 🤞

As always, learning something new with every iteration.
