App stuck in Waiting for Review for 66+ hours after resubmission

Hello,

My app has now been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for more than 66 hours after resubmission, with no status change.

This is the first public release of the app. I have also experienced unusually long review delays on several previous submissions. In one previous case, the submission remained stuck for nearly a week, and a Contact Us support request also went unanswered for about a week.

Once the app actually enters “In Review”, the review itself is usually completed very quickly, which makes me concerned that the repeated delay may be related to queueing or routing rather than the review itself.

I replied to App Review and resubmitted the app three days ago, but there has been no further response or progress since then.

A priority / expedited review had previously been approved, so I am also concerned that the current resubmission may have lost its priority or may not be correctly routed in the review queue.

Could an Apple Staff member please help confirm whether this submission is correctly queued for review, and whether there may be a routing or processing issue affecting it?

66 hours definitely doesn't qualify as "stuck". Nor does one week really. Many people are complaining about multi-week delays both "waiting for review" and "in review".

But 66 hours, and even a week, have always been within the normal range, even before all these new AI slop delays.

Surprised someone actually responded.

This whole thing is nuts.

Everyone posts "my app is stuck" and then no one replies, and then it's just about 5 of these a day. Same thing, over and over.

The real issue here is two things:

Apple App Review team does not read this forum - it's a black hole - stop wasting your time
There is absolutely zero reason why apps get stuck - it's random, it's AI, it's pure nonsense. I've been doing this now for 2 years.

HERE IS WHAT YOU DO:

You put your app in.

You wait 72 hours.

If the app is still stuck, you simply upload a new build (increase build number) and go into AppStore connect and take your app out of review and put the new one in.

Nine times out of ten, it will go through in like 12 hours.

For some reason, and Apple does a pour job at App Reviews because you could just change a word in the code, upload, and it's stuck for four days. Take the exact same build, upload a new one, and it gets released within 24 hours.

That's what I do.

“Waiting for Beta App Review” That's how I've been since last Saturday
