New app stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 7 days after "Information Needed"

Hello App Review team,

Our first app, Armor Sandbox (Apple ID 6821128741), received a Guideline 2.1 "Information Needed" message on October 10. We replied within two hours with the requested screen recording and all seven answers, and resubmitted the same day.

Since then, the app and its in-app purchase have been in "Waiting for Review" for 7 days (since October 10), with an expedited review request active. There have been no new messages from App Review.

The game is already live on Google Play and players are asking for the iPhone version. Could you please check whether anything is blocking this submission or needed from our side?

Hey, we're actually in almost the exact same situation with our first iOS app, StoneEcho.

Apple asked us for 6 videos under Guideline 2.1 around Oct 10. We provided everything, then resubmitted Build 20 on Oct 12. Still stuck in Waiting for Review, and no response from Apple Support either. Our app is also already live on Google Play.

Just wondering, have you had any update since posting this? Did Apple approve your expedited review request, or is that still pending too?

I'm trying to figure out if this is happening to a lot of first-time developers right now. Would really appreciate an update if anything changes on your side.

Hi! Sounds like exactly the same situation, and it's reassuring to know we're not alone.

No update on our side yet. Still "Waiting for Review" since October 10, with no new messages from App Review.

I called Apple Developer Support on October 15. The agent could only see what we see in App Store Connect, but she confirmed our expedited review request is still active and said nothing looked wrong with the account. Her guess was that the extra "Information Needed" step for new accounts makes the review take longer.

So it really does look like it's hitting a lot of first-time developers right now. I'll post here as soon as anything changes, and I'd appreciate the same from you. Good luck with StoneEcho!
