if my app was made to manage a physical device (an intercom) and offer services to family groups and individuals. In order for them to use the app they'll need a subscription. My question is, Can I use the third party vendor (Stripe) to charge my user or will it have to be with the in app purchase (IAP) one? if it has to be through IAP will I have to pay the 30% fee per transaction?

There is a volunteer run group on GitHub who maintain a well known public domain cross-platform Python script. They build binaries for Linux, Windows and macOS. The macOS binaries are only ad-hoc signed. Thus, in macOS 15, they are rejected by Gatekeeper – requiring user intervention to be used. There are a lot of components each of which must be approved in "Settings" with admin credentials. It would be best if these binaries were code signed. However, the core group of devs changes over time and so, using one person's name might not be ideal. Can such a volunteer group apply for a developer certificate so that they can sign the macOS binaries ? I ask because Apple's requirements for enrolling in the Development Program include that an organisation be a legal entity and this group is not a legal entity. Thnaks.

If you already have IOS 18.1 beta 5 can you receive the updates 18.0.1?

Hello, I wanna keep this simple and I just want a simple answer please because I cannot find one anywhere. I have the Ios 18.1 beta and have had it for a couple months. Obviously I did not receive the ios 18 update in september. When ios 18.1 drops in mid october will i receive it? I hope so because my phone has been nothing but buggy. Someone please just answer for me.

When I go to the software update tab in settings and have beta updates off 18.0.1 does not show up. I need to get off 18.1 since it’s ruining my battery life, is there any way to get 18.0.1 without a computer?

Hello, I'm trying to register my company on a developer account, we are a school and we made an app for our students. I went through several steps where I uploaded several documents regarding myself and my company. Now I'm stuck on the step where apple needs to contact my reference (CEO) in the company so they can approve I have authorization to legally bind my company to apple developer program. He wasn't contacted in any way by apple, and now it's asking me to use the phone call option to contact apple, but I don't have a phone call option, I have tried it from the account I'm trying to enroll during work hours. Do I maybe need to make a new apple account registered on my CEOs name and email since he doesn't have an apple account?

It's been more then one month since i am trying to purchase apple developer account. At first i was asked to submit government issued identification. Hi there, We are seeing weird issue, Testflight invites sent to users go without "View in Testflight" link despite the build is available for testing, user has no way to install App through TestFlight. NOTE: Our other Apps on the same developer account are sending proper TestFlight invite with the link to View redeem code / "View in TestFlight". At present we are stuck inviting users, asked developers to upload new build but without any success.
