Reply to 4.3 Rejection
You're right. I left out too much context in my original post. I was also having trouble posting the longer version because the forum kept flagging the content. Platform: iOS and iPadOS Category: Lifestyle Keywords - daily routine, core experience, self reflection, personal growth, daily focus, wellbeing, life guidance. App description in brief My app is designed around a daily core experience. Each day, the user enters this main screen and moves through a sequence of interactive elements regarding their mood, daily numbers, vitality, personal actions, and day quality. The idea is that these are not separate screens or reports. The user progresses through them as part of one daily flow and can return the next day for a new experience. The app also has a number of additional features outside this core daily flow. These include personalized themes, daily cards, a calendar, ambient sounds, reminders, career-related insights, interpersonal tools, longer-term guidance, profile comparisons, a visual grid, name-based insights, and other personalized tools. There is also a paid subscription that unlocks additional features and deeper personalization. The reason I'm trying to get feedback is that I consider this daily flow to be the core of the app. However, I can also see that the additional features may make the overall product look different from how I think about its main experience. The rejection is under Guideline 4.3(b) (Design - Spam), so I'm trying to understand whether developers here see this primarily as a positioning problem — meaning the App Store listing and feature mix are causing the app to be classified a certain way — or whether the actual product itself would need more fundamental changes. We already spent around four months reworking the app after the first rejection, and this is now the only issue remaining. Before making another major change, I wanted to get some outside perspective from people who have experience with App Review. I appreciate the feedback and I'm happy to provide more details about any specific part of the app.
