How do you test your app in Test Flight without also publishing to the App Store? We want to test out bug fixes and changes in Test Flight, but it seems the only option is to publish to both Test Flight and the App Store together. What is Test Flight for if the same build also goes to the App Store? or What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

Hi, does anyone know of a service that will generate QR codes that contain Universal Links so that we can deep link into specific areas of our iOS app? I have my app code set up to deep link and the requisite apple-app-site-association file ready to go, but I cannot find a QR code generator that will allow us to enter an Apple Universal Link. One service, Scanova, has relayed to us that we have to create a URI that will tell their system to redirect to a web page containing the Universal LInk, which seems to defeat the purpose as Universal Links are supposed to be direct. So is this possible to do at all or we have to go the route Scanova indicates? thanks for your help in advance & cheers, Gordon

Hi recent app update review was rejected because we were informed we had to implement the App Transparency Tracking UI to let users choose. (we had just successfully published two days prior to this, and we need to get some bug fixes out with a new submission) Nothing about the app with respect to data collection had changed between the successful submission and the rejection and still wondering why we were rejected for that reason. We do not track data. We do collect user info and info about app usage for user account login and app performance analytics, and also for our development cycle. So I updated the app to present the Tracking Transparency UI at startup and that is all good. Now I add the app to the submission form, and I go update our privacy policy to define what data we collect and how we are using it. I publish the updated privacy information. but now I am stuck. The submission page returns a message that I have to set up the privacy data to be able to submit for review Your app contains NSUserTrackingUsageDescription, indicating that it may request permission to track users. To submit for review, update your App Privacy response to indicate that data collected from this app will be used for tracking purposes, or update your app binary and upload a new build. Learn More But I have already defined and published that privacy data. It seems it is not finding the Privacy data or what? What could be going wrong here? Thanks for any ideas!

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what is true here - if I am not in the correct forum please direct me :-) A. It is not possible to test a QR code scan that contains a deeplink into my iOS app from an XCoode build test run. In other words, The build must be published to Test Flight for the iOS's QR code scan sub-system to be able to process the deeplink into my app? If I am wrong about this, it sure would help with testing to be able to test directly from the local XCode build test. If so, can someone point me in the direction of what I would need to do for that? Thanks for your input either way!
