Did VisionOS27 get the LazyVGrid Performance Updates?
Did VisionOS get the LazyVGrid Performance Updates that other platforms received? I’m observing that a LazyVGrid that works well on iPhone, iPad, and Mac appears to hitch and jitter as cells exit and renter the lazyVGrid on VisionOS. It really feels like it did not get the same behavior changes as the other platforms. I observe the scrollbar expands as cells leave the top of the grid, and each “exit” of a row seems to cause a hitch. I’ve got rigidly defined cell frames, rigidly defined columns. I don’t think any cells frames are being invalidated during scroll… (there’s no way to check this with instruments, right?) I‘ve made several analysis passes myself and threw the Xcode Agent with Codex at it just to scan for stuff, but it’s starting to just guess at things. Any known issues with VisionOS?

Xcode Cloud 26b7 Metal Compilation Failure
I've been getting intermittent failures on Xcode code compiling my app on multiple platforms because it fails to compile a metal shader. The Metal Toolchain was not installed and could not compile the Metal source files. Download the Metal Toolchain from Xcode > Settings > Components and try again. Sometimes if I re-run it, it works fine. Then I'll run it again, and it will fail. If you tell me to file a feedback, please tell me what information would be useful and actionable, because this is all I have.

What happens if I change an App's Age Rating in ASC?
If I change an app's age rating to a higher age in App Store Connect, what happens to existing installs on devices where users are not of that age? Are parents notified about this via the OS? Are they required to re-approve the app by the OS? Is it the app's responsibility, even though this can be propagated via ASC?

SB 2420 - I have no idea what to do.
I recognize that Apple has put out documentation on how to do things with the new Age APIs, but I have no idea what my apps are supposed to do to be in compliance with this law. Most of the law sounds like it applies to App Store developers like Apple, more than it pertains to individual app devs. If the age rating of an app changes, wouldn't we just put it in App Store Connect and have Apple disable those apps on the devices of the underage kids?

[OS27] Adaptive Layouts - TabView - Force Sidebar?
Hello, To support adaptive layouts on iOS27 I want to display the sidebar on landscape iPhone app windows. (Like in the old days of the iPhone 6 Plus... >.>) It appears that TabView ignores attempts to force it into sidebar mode even in the "Resize mode" of the device manager. Am I holding it wrong? Is this a bug? Apple is not clear about how their components should be behaving to support adaptive layouts, and if rumors are true, it will be important come this fall.

Can I steer how Siri thinks of an @AppEntity(schema:X)?
I conform to @AppEntity(schema: .photos.album). I'm curious if I can steer how Siri thinks of these entities when the user speaks about them. While my app contains groups of images, they are not presented to the user as "albums". In fact "albums" from PhotoKit are used when creating these galleries. This distinction is important. The user is most likely to say "I want to open a gallery in " rather than "I want to open an album in " Is it possible to steer Siri into thinking of these AppEntities as galleries rather than albums? Similar to how IndexedEntity contains a CSSearchableItemAttributeSet ?

OS27 LazyVGrid hops like crazy on scroll up.
I’m not sure if this is a ”care later in the summer” situation, but on beta 1, with an .adaptive Grid Item, a scrolling LazyVGrid will hop and “bounce” when scrolling back up from the bottom of the grid. I can see the scrollbar visibly hopping as item views are re-created. Anyone else seeing this?

Does On-Screen-Context from first party apps work at the moment?
Do apps like Files, Safari, and Finder provide on screen data on request? I've got an entity that implements transferable, but Siri is consistently telling me that it is unable to export data from Files, Safari and photos, and does not seem to want to construct my entity. (it's an @PhotoAsset entity, and I've implemented @createAssets as well.) Is that true at the moment that Siri cannot read data from those apps? I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

Unions and @Schemas
Hello, I'm still working on my @addToAlbum schema implementation, and I'm exploring how multiple entities could be "destinations" to the intent. I considered using a @UnionValue for this, but I'm running into compiler difficulties trying to get a @UnionValue to conform to @AppEntity(schema: .photos.album) Am I out of luck on a Unionized "target" for the add-to-album intent?

Can I import images into my app with App Intent Schemas?
I'm trying to create an App Intent that takes in an image and copies it to a destination within my app. Sure, this can be done with shortcuts, but that's lame, I want siri to grab an image off the screen and invoke the action! Without an app schema, it doesn't seem like siri can tell what's possible in the app, so I'm trying to find a schema that fits? I've started trying to do this with the photos.addAssetsToAlbum App Intent schema, but it doesn't seem like Siri is onboard with the concept. It's replied many times that it is unable to add things to my App and that I should try via other means like opening my app and importing directly. Should be I be trying this with a different intent schema? I was thinking about files.open, but documentation says that Schema is not available to Siri.

Any debugging tools beyond AppIntentsTesting?
Are there any tools this year to debug why siri can't see a schema-based intent or chooses not to invoke it? Is it possible to see what inputs siri has within the context of the conversation that could cascade into intents of other applications? I've had difficulties with knowing if something should work, or of it's just not possible.
