I've been experiencing this too! My brand new app was stuck in review for 9 days, then got accepted, and now an update to another app has been stuck in review for a few days now.

I would say that could be true, however the iOS app updates I submitted around the same time got accepted within half a day. It only seems to be an issue on the Mac.
