AppStoreConnect Xcode Cloud Failed to Fetch
I'm angry — Apple’s support has been awful. I’ve been trying to get help from Apple for two weeks. Their replies feel canned and automated (they even sign with a first name only), and they only provide basic information that doesn’t address the problem. You put in a response and then a week later, some canned response comes back from someone with a single name (Lisenga) I’m now faced with two unacceptable options: stop supporting Apple Safari users or delete my account and start over. Both options punish my users. For a multi-billion-dollar company, Apple’s support is shockingly limited. I ran this issue past ChatGPT Codex, and it confirmed that this is something only Apple can fix. Recent Apple Developer Forum posts describe Xcode Cloud / App Store Connect requests returning null responses because backend team permissions were broken. One post even referenced a case where Apple confirmed the only remedy was an internal fix on their side. To be clear: I am NOT using Xcode. I’ll say it again in case it was missed: I am not using Xcode. Here’s what happens: In App Store Connect, when I click the Xcode Cloud link it prompts me to “upload archive file.” When I upload, I immediately get “Failed to Fetch.” This happens in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, in normal and private windows. It happens on a different computer 400 miles away as well. My suspicion is this: if a build is created before agreeing to the developer agreements, and the agreements are answered afterward, the system goes out of sync and breaks — a problem that only Apple can resolve. How do you actually talk to a real human at Apple??

Apple wants me to change the Bundle ID (Non XCODE)
Hello! I have a web extension I've written to Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. It's made up of simple files. The extension (content.js) A manifest (manifest.json) file which explains the extension The icon (icon.png) Apple has developed App Store Connect / Xcode Cloud specifically for this. I upload those three files as a zip. I move it over to TestFlight for testing and then select Distribution to put it through Apple Review. This is my entire process. I have been doing this for 4+ months and Apple reviewed my application and put it up. I have then gone through 13 subsequent reviews (ALL POSITIVE) and have gone through version upgrades for months, no issue. On the 15th review, they want me to change the name of my application. I have done that in the content.js, the manifest.json, and anywhere that allows me to change it in App Store Connect. There is apparently one more place they want it changed. This is on the App Information / General Information tab, specifically the "BundleID". The tip on that field says: The bundle ID must match the one you used in Xcode. It can't be changed after you upload your first build. Or, I am not understanding what their issue is or what else I can change. I was told by Review team I must use XCODE to change this. I tell them I don't use XCode (they demand now I use Xcode, which seems completely irrelevant here and a red herring The tooltip itself says I can't change it anyway? Has anyone been told after they released their application they have to change their name later on in life?

How do I provide developer documentation (4.1 - Copycats)
My application does not compete with the developer. It’s an extension which sits on top of their website. Its only use is to work with their website. Without using their name, the extension does not make any sense. The developer not only has no issue with it - some of their own employees use the extension. To get documentation from developer, that’s easy. However, two questions: Developer wants to know what needs to be provided? An email, A statement? How / what format would be required they are asking? How does such above documentation get submitted / included in subsequent updates to Not hinder approval? The app went through 8 positive reviews / approvals and then all of a sudden this happened out of no where. So not understanding what changed on Apples side and how/what is sufficient documentation (email, statement, PDF, ????) from developer? thanks.
