Reply to Can't Edit Age Ratings in App Information Section of App Store Connect for released App Versions
I just contacted APPLE DEVELOPER via phone from Singapore at 1:43 PM SG time zone. The advisor on the line confirmed: If you have this problem, create a new release version you do not have to upload a new binary you do not have to submit this new release for formal review just navigate on the left menu to General > App Information.. go update your age ratings once done the section will show Edited That's all. You have done your part To know if you have any pending actions, go to appstore connect website on browser Https://appstoreconnect.apple.com If there are no banners or alerts on the main page, you have nothing to worry about. TLDR: just add a new version so that you can edit your age ratings; but there is no need to submit it for full app review and there is no need to upload a new binary. if there is no banner or policy flag on your appstoreconnect account you dont need to worry or do anything

Reply to Can't Edit Age Ratings in App Information Section of App Store Connect for released App Versions
You can edit the questions by creating a new release without submitting the release for formal review. But I am not sure if that is enough to be considered as fulfilling the requirement. Anyone knows? In addition, for one of my apps, apple has auto computed the age rating and I found it to be accurate. So do I even need to add a new build and re-update age ratings?

Reply to Cannot Update Age Rating
two questions are still unanswered: Q1. If we do not submit a new binary and just leave the new age rating either I) auto computed by apple or Ii) updated manually by adding a new release without actually submitting the release for review Do these count? Q2. What happens if an app doesn't have new age ratings after 31 Jan 2026? Delisted? Or blocked from all future releases? Or can only submit after answering new age ratings?

Reply to Got an email reply from Apple developer saying that, to update age ratings - we do not have to upload binary / submit app for formal review
"may be". quite confusing right? at least updating age rating questionnaires is very easy and straightforward, and no need to submit new binary - i guess it would be easy.

@KrystynaC i see your image. so just create a new version to access "App Info > update Age Rating" but do not need to upload or submit new binary right?

Huh? The Texas law is 1 Jan not 31 Jan. Also you don't have to submit a new version. Just add a new release and update the age ratings, I guess, before 1 Jan 2026

Reply to Apple's new Age Ratings: do I have to submit a new binary?
Really prefer not to re-submit because just want to focus on our work right now. If i dont see any banners or flags at all on our accounts and also have filled in all questions in the new age-rating section (but not yet release the app yet). it should all be fine right?
