Reply to Trapped in a "Black Box": Almost 3 weeks of App Review silence and ignored support tickets. Is this normal?
I uploaded 2 builds of the same app, a Mac build and an iOS build. ios went from waiting to "In Review" at about 30 hours... and accepted about 36 hours. However the Mac side it has been in Review for 5 days... I have 1 Case opened on it ...im trying to be patient as it seems others are in teh same boat. I know on the TestFlght side, the Mac took a bit longer to approve for testing than the IOS version... I think 24 hours for iOS and 2-3 days for the Mac version. So I think the Mac side of the house has less resources. I hope that helps.

Reply to App stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 10+ days since February 19
BeRodgersLimited, Noel, and berkaegean, i think we all are in similar boats. if you look at all of the other threads, they all re similar. I uploaded a multiplatform build: a Mac build, and an iOS build. it took about 24 hours on the iOS to go from waiting to In Review... then about 8 hours to be reveiewed and approved. However the Mac version of the same app has been waiting for review since Tuesday (February 24, 2026). It is virtually the same code base... They just must be totally swamped with builds to look at.

Reply to Which tools and concepts are essential to learn first in iOS development?
Certainly the material on developer.apple.com, but also check out HackingWithSwift.com, Kodeco.com, the vidos that Stewart Lynch does on youtube, and lastly learn by doing... the new XCode has adaptive learning with where the compiler helps you complete the code you type :D

Reply to Unusually long “Waiting for Review” times this week (App Store + TestFlight delays?)
I sent a Multiplatform set of builds, iOS, and Mac on February 12th to TestFlight. iOS was approved about 24 hours later, but it took 3 days on the Mac...the Mac was rejected (rightly so lol)..I sent a fix that night on the Mac (February 15th) and as of February 17th the Mac is still Waiting for review. Hope that helps.

Reply to Unusually Long "Waiting for Review" Times This Week - Anyone Else?
Last week I sent a Mac and iOS set of builds to TestFlight...they approved the iOS in 24 hours or less, but it took them 3 days on the Mac. They rejected my Mac app (rightly so lol). I sent the fix very late in the evening on the 15th and I have not yet seen a review just yet. I suspect there are less reviewers for Mac.

Reply to Watch App Screen Shots
Thank you so much! Very helpful! I put a watch screen shot on a watch device (Band and face) along with an iPhone shot as one of the iPhone screen shots. Then the watch screeshots are just the barebones screen shot from the device itself. I appreciate the advice!

Reply to Returning IOS Developer - Swift vs. Xamarin
yes. I am just saying I am so used to using it coming from a C, c++, c# background. Good to know on how Xcode works better with the frameworks... I was just seeing if there was one method of coding that is more prevalent or trending over one in the IOS arena. I do appreciate your answer, Claude31!

Reply to Returning IOS Developer - Swift vs. Xamarin
Also, are there any recommended books, websites, or tutorials that I can access? I just renewed my developer account. I have a couple of Swift books coming and I have 1 on Cross platform coding in .net that discusses MAUI and touches on Xamarin.
