Reply to Waiting for Review: TestFlight 25+ days, Production 10 days, no communication.
Things that give me hope: The response from Apple  above says the word 'both', which is different from other responses on other threads, so it's a human being answering, not a bot Received new developer agreement email from Apple  - something something China something something, so they're alive and well, they must know that we're having this issue The daily barrage of developers raising concerns on this forum about the delays The delay also seems to signify that it's humans reviewing apps, which I much prefer over any 100% automated review system I know a lot of us are waiting, me included, for the fruits of our labor and creativity to be unleashed into the world, and to hopefully earn some money from it. Hold on tight guys, I'm sure it will happen. I know some of us are actually losing money because of this delay. But since we have no other leverage, stay patient. I tell myself a month is nothing in the large scheme of things, right? Right?

Similar situation. First time app, macOS and iOS versions, no login, no account, no server - just plain SwiftData, CloudKit, and one in-app purchase to unlock lifetime access. TestFlight: macOS build: submitted Feb 09, 2026 -> approved Feb 11, 2026 iOS build: submitted Feb 09, 2026 -> waiting -> re-submitted by incrementing build number Feb 18, 2026 -> still waiting, status on Mar 12, 2026: 'Waiting for Review' In-app purchase: didn't require submission I got enough feedback from my macOS beta testing that I decided to go ahead with the final app approval submission. Production: macOS build: submitted Mar 06, 2026 -> approved Mar 09, 2026 iOS build: submitted Mar 06, 2026 -> still waiting, status on Mar 12, 2026: 'Waiting for Review' In-app purchase: status on Mar 12, 2026: 'In Review' Without the IAP approval, it doesn't even make sense to announce my macOS release to my network because the app will just lock up after 14 days if they're unable to purchase. Why are things happening in such a fragmented manner, moving like molasses, one trickle at a time? I don't know. Seems to have started in February. The good news is that it seems to affect everybody. Old app, new app, established business, first time indie developers, simple app, complex app. It's very non-discriminatory in that sense haha. Hopefully a temporary situation, which is now one month old and counting.

After you upload your images, before you hit 'Submit for review', double check all your images and screenshots in all the various shapes and sizes you have uploaded under "View All Sizes in Media Manager" - typically an error should show up there shortly after uploading. It may not be immediate so let them sit there for a few minutes and then double check that they all look error-free.

Reply to Serious Quest: Are Your Apps Also Stuck in Review for Over a Month?
Beta iOS app still waiting in review since Feb 09. My macOS build was approved on Feb 11. Not sure what happened after that. I received a favorable Small Business Program response in about 10 days after I applied I think. Not sure what's happening in the month of February, but at least enough developers are talking about it on here that it's nice to not be alone.

Reply to Urgent Inquiry: Significant Delays in App and Update Reviews (Waiting for Review) During February
My iOS TestFlight build has been waiting since Feb 09. On Feb 18 I did what the Internet told me - updated the build number and reuploaded. Still waiting. Now I wonder if reuploading was a mistake. I am thinking about removing my app from TestFlight review and directly submitting for final approval, and then wait in that queue instead (which also seems to be long). I wonder if they had paused everything because of the new product launch that just happened. Only a conjecture of course.

Reply to App Stuck in “Waiting for Review” Since February 4, 2026 – No Status Update
It's possible that there are many more apps now from people out of work because of layoffs, and from people leveraging AI, but from my sleuthing, I saw at least one post showing that a similar backlog seems to have happened back in 2022. But if there are indeed just more apps to review, I hope they set the expectations right, that as a rule it'll now take a month to review. People can live with that if the expectation isn't set to 48 hours.

Reply to App distributed but IAP - is waiting for review.
@Dimbonder was your problem resolved? I am in the same situation - app approved, non-consumable IAP 'in review'. My app will lock up and show a paywall in 14 days, so it doesn't make much sense to announce my app without IAP approval.

Reply to How long did your App Store Small Business Program enrollment take?
For me it took about 10 days. I didn't inquire in between. I received an acceptance email in February that it was approved. It was a one time process.

Reply to International In-app-purchase issue with TestFlight build
FWIW, the Brazilian tester was able to view the pricing in Brazilian Real and was able to complete the purchase too, same build, no code change. So, yeah, must be TestFlight's problem. Posting in case it helps someone with a similar issue.

Reply to Multiple iOS app updates stuck in “Waiting for Review” for 4–5 weeks
Thanks for being a harbinger of hope lol. I wonder if this internal pause was because everything was on pause because of their new product line that they just launched. Just a conjecture.

Reply to Mac App Review Sudden Delays?
It seems the sudden delays started in February. We're all in the same boat, waiting for a resolution. Thanks for pointing out though that there have been times of 2-month reviews. Seems like it has fluctuated in the past, which is good to know.

Odd because for me it's the opposite - the macOS build was approved in 36 hours and the iOS build is waiting for 18 days lol.

Reply to Unusually Long "Waiting for Review" Times This Week - Anyone Else?
Independent devs are still paying customers. The issue seems to have started in February, judging from most posts on these forums. For the sake of their reputation, the hope is they'll fix this issue soon. Or they'll set the expectations correctly, that it now just takes longer.

Seems like this is a particularly recurring experience in February 2026. Hopefully they drain the app review backlog soon.

Same position - and I'm at the beta / TestFlight stage. Still taking a long time (16 days and counting) with no visible changes.
