Reply to App removed from App Store due to incompetent reviewers
Wrote a reply to the reviewer 24 hours ago (10 min after the rejection), explaining that the screenshots are in compliance They decide what is compliant. If they say they aren't compliant, then they aren't compliant. Any ways to speed up the process of getting the new version approved? I suggest that you just remove all the problematic screenshots for the time being. That should get the app back on the store. Then create new ones that are exactly as they want them. Don't bother appealing or trying to communicate with them in any way.

I am pretty fluent in English, but this is pretty weird legalese. You're German, right? https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/TXT/?uri=CELEX:32022R2065 „Unternehmer“ jede natürliche oder juristische Person, unabhängig davon, ob sie in privatem oder öffentlichem Eigentum steht, die für die Zwecke ihrer gewerblichen, geschäftlichen, handwerklichen oder beruflichen Tätigkeit entweder selbst oder durch eine andere in ihrem Namen oder Auftrag handelnde Person tätig wird;

If I stop providing my apps on the EU store am I no longer a 'trader'? I don't think that Apple's forms currently have a way of saying "I want to skip this, I don't want to sell in the EU". You could ask them to add that. We also don't know what happens if you just don't complete the forms. FWIW, for me having a business address available online only results in a few extra kg of junk mail per month.

This definition is unclear to me because I don’t know the definition of “trade, business, craft, or profession.” Dictionaries are available. But basically, they are all types of jobs. It is asking if you are doing this as a job. This is a hobby to me. Is my hobby my “craft” or “trade”? No, but... Does it matter if I have paid apps or IAP vs only free apps? Does it matter if I make a profit vs a net loss considering the annual developer fee? If you are making a profit - or trying to make a profit - then it's not a hobby, is it?! What do you tell the tax authorities about your income from this?

Reply to How do I see all the feedback entries submitted by myself?
I see feedback from others, too. That sounds like a serious bug! (Have you filed a bug report? Ha ha ha) But maybe you're just referring to the spam that Apple puts in there, e.g. release notes, newsletters, surveys etc. I'm afraid you just have to ignore that. Or... maybe this is an enterprise thing? Are you seeing bugs from other people in your organisation? I don't know how that is supposed to work.

Reply to Is Settings.bundle deprecated? What required-reason API code to use?
Hi Quinn, thanks for your reply. the category of your app reading its own preferences I don’t see any such category. Which code are you referring to? BTW, do you understand the actual privacy issue here? Is it true that apps can illicitly read other apps’ NSUserDefaults values, and/or global settings? If so, is there a good reason for that being possible? Can it not be blocked by a technical change? The reason codes refer to “information that is only accessible to the app itself” (etc). Is there something that I need to do to make NSUserDefaults not accessible to other apps?

Reply to SKStoreReviewController prompt limit after app upgrade
From the docs at https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/requestreviewaction When your app calls this API, StoreKit uses the following criteria: If the person hasn’t rated or reviewed your app on this device, StoreKit displays the ratings and review request a maximum of three times within a 365-day period. If the person has rated or reviewed your app on this device, StoreKit displays the ratings and review request if the app version is new, and if more than 365 days have passed since the person’s previous review. will the app review prompt limit reset after app is reinstalled? I don't think so, no. and if the app is updated? Yes, but only when a year has passed since their last review.

Reply to Possible to send an appeal to another reviewer?
Can we send an appeal for an app rejection to a different reviewer? No. the same person responded each time. How do you know that? They don’t normally give themselves names. We don’t even know to what extent they are human! If you say more about the rejection, people might have some advice. In my experience, there is never any point appealing. Just change whatever it is they object to. Don’t try to compromise, if they say “X is inappropriate“, you need to completely remove X from the app.
