Me too! The only plausible suggestion that I've seen so far is to install Ventura on the separate volume, boot into it, and then upgrade to Sonoma. I've not tried that yet. I don't know what use the downloadable .ipsw file is. Maybe it can be used with a virtual machine, or something? If anyone has got Sonoma working as a dual-boot option, either on an external drive or a separate volume on the internal storage, please give us a clue how you did it! Thanks!

I would like to install macOS 14 Sonoma on an external partition Me too! I couldn't find an installer on the developer website. I downloaded the .ipsw "restore image" from https://developer.apple.com/download/ but I don't know what to do with it! In Disk Utility I can select my external disk and click "restore", and there is an "image" button, but the .ipsw file is not selectable in the file picker. Is this one of those things where you have to hold down shift while clicking a button and a load of extra choices appear? Someone must know how to do this....

You can have thousands of IAPs, but not millions. Are you talking about physical books?

It used to be that the only way to get the exchange rates was to download the payment report by clicking on a button in App Store Connect, i.e. there was no equivalent API. It is possible that this has changed recently but I doubt it. Note that this gives you the exchange rates on the day that the funds are transferred to your bank account. Don’t try to account for currencies in any other way!

That sounds to me like the product is delivered outside the app, so it’s not something you can use IAP for. Your problem is that App Review have failed to understand what your app is doing. (Assuming of course that what your real app does is very similar to this art gallery example.) There’s not much you can do about this except appeal the rejection and explain the issue in very simple terms. Have you confused the appeal by saying that the price points are not high enough, as you have in this post? PS why is this an app rather than a website? PS2 IAP prices up to $10,000 are supposed to be available “on request”.

What do you mean by "uncompressed data size" The size of that data which you say the app unpacks on first use - once it is unpacked. and "in the app description"? The app description that you provide in App Store Connect, which is shown (truncated) in the App Store.

I agree with Roflbot that this would be useful, but it’s clear at this point in history that Apple disagree and it’s not going to change. I have two use cases. First, sometimes it’s useful to be able to tell users where the location data is coming from. I do get complaints from users who say that my app worked OK on their wifi-only iPad at home, but when they were lost on a mountain it couldn’t show their location. The second is compatibility; the GPX file format has an attribute for the number of satellites, and it would be good to be able to populate that with something accurate. I may have filed a bug about this in about 2009…….

Above posts are little old so I want to double confirm. "Double confirm" - looks more like "seventh confirm" to me. Do you check everything so thoroughly? I confirm that you cannot get the number of satellites.

How many sales have you had? Does your app prompt users to submit reviews / ratings? I'm currently seeing about one rating for every 500 sales for one of my apps, but that app doesn't prompt for ratings.

They may ask you to submit a video demonstrating the app working with the device. Submit the app and wait for them to ask.
