Reply to Waiting for Review Megathread
I've been reading through this whole thread, and it's clear we're all stuck in the same place: waiting in the dark with no idea what's going on or when it will end. Look at what people have posted here. Some submissions go back to mid and late September. Others are from October 1st, 8th, 9th, 11th, and 13th, and they're still sitting at "Waiting for Review." One developer filed ten separate support requests about an appeal and heard nothing back. Others asked for expedited review and didn't even get an automated reply. So far only one person in this thread has reported an approval, and that took about two weeks. That's far off from the "90% of submissions reviewed within 24 hours" figure Apple usually gives. What bothers me most isn't the delay. Delays happen. Maybe there's a backlog, a staffing issue, a policy change, or a technical problem on their end. Most of us would understand that. The problem is the silence. There's no banner in App Store Connect, no developer news post, no email, no updated wait time, and no answers to support tickets. For a company this size, with a platform millions of developers depend on, that's hard to understand. For many of us this isn't just an inconvenience. These are launches we've planned for, marketing we've already paid for, customers or clients who are waiting, bug fixes users need, and in some cases our income. When we don't know whether the wait is two days or two months, we can't plan anything. We can't tell our users when to expect an update or decide whether to push a launch date back. We pay for the Developer Program, follow the guidelines, and build apps that make the platform better. All we're asking for is basic communication: An acknowledgment that review times are longer than normal right now A rough estimate of current wait times, even if it's only approximate Responses to support tickets and expedited review requests, even automated ones confirming they were received A status note in App Store Connect or on the System Status page when review is backed up That isn't a big ask. A short post from the App Review team would take a lot of the stress and guesswork off everyone in this thread. To everyone else waiting: keep posting your submission dates and any updates. The more data we put together here, the harder this is to ignore, and the more useful it is for other developers trying to work out what's normal right now. Stay patient and hang in there. Hopefully we all get some answers soon.

Reply to 15 Days Waiting for App Review – Apple, This Is Unacceptable for Paying Developers
This looks like a problem on Apple's side, not ours. We have two apps that have both been stuck since the beginning of October. Neither has been approved or rejected. They're just waiting. So many of us in this thread are describing the same thing, and that doesn't look like coincidence. Either App Review doesn't have enough reviewers for the current volume, or something is changing internally before the queue starts moving again. Whatever the cause, developers should be told. A short status note from Apple, even just "reviews are delayed, here's roughly how long," would let all of us plan launches, talk to our users, and stop guessing. We're not asking for shortcuts. We're asking for the clear communication that paying members of the Developer Program should be able to expect.
