Hello everyone, and happy Halloween!
I’m looking for advice on how to handle an App Store Review deadlock.
The Issue:
Our app is new. It was initially rejected with a few required changes. We addressed the feedback on the same day and submitted a new build each time.
However, whenever a rejection occurs (showing the red exclamation mark next to "App Review"), the submission seems to enter a deadlock state with zero progress. To break out of this, we had to manually cancel/reject the build twice and resubmit a new version.
Up until now, our review expedites were processed within 48 hours.
Current Situation:
The latest review has now been completely stuck for over a week.
Submitted an Expedited Review request → No response.
Contacted Developer Support → No response.
Why it's critical:
We have scheduled external press and interviews going live that cannot be postponed, and we risk losing potential users if the app isn't live on the App Store in time.
Has anyone experienced a similar deadlock after resolving a rejection? Is there any effective way to escalate this with Apple Developer Relations when support form inquiries go unanswered?
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
