Uploaded builds not showing?
macOS app builds that I have uploaded today (UTC afternoon time) through Xcode are not showing. If I try to upload the same build using Transporter, it complains that it already exists. So, I know the build is there. It's just that the builds are not showing in App Store Connect for this app. There have been some problems earlier today but according to the status page they are apparently resolved.

Accessing Safari URL using com.apple.security.scripting-targets entitlement?
I've created an app that grabs the current URL and Title/name from the frontmost window/tab of Safari or any of a number of Chromium browsers, using NSAppleScript. The app sits in the menu bar and can be summoned by shortcut key combo. let script = """ tell application \"Safari\" if not (exists front window) then return {\"\", \"\"} set theTab to current tab of front window set theURL to URL of theTab set theTitle to name of theTab return {theURL, theTitle} end tell """ if let appleScript = NSAppleScript(source: script) { let output = appleScript.executeAndReturnError(&error) if output.numberOfItems == 2 { let url = output.atIndex(1)?.stringValue let title = output.atIndex(2)?.stringValue if let url = url, !url.isEmpty { return (url, title) } } } If I sign an archived build and run it locally it works beautifully, no matter which browser I am using. But the URL/title grabbing breaks in sandbox due to permissions. I read and have been informed that I need to use com.apple.security.scripting-targets entitlement. The example for this is in WWDC 2012 and talks about accessing Mail compose window. <key>com.apple.security.scripting-targets</key> <dict> <key>com.apple.mail</key> <array> <string>com.apple.mail.compose</string> </array> </dict> However, I don't want to control the app or use any access groups, as I've looked through the sdef and Safari/Chrome do not provide any access groups whose contents I'm interested in. I just want to get the property/values of a window/tab. So I think I could be quite restrictive about the read-only access to two properties or objects that I need. That said, I'm going back and forth with TestFlight review kind of shooting in the dark. I need help! So I figure it's time to ask: what content should my entitlement have? Or am I on the wrong path entirely? I know it's possible because an app called Neptunes does it to get properties from Music.app Many thanks in advance, matt

Strange error when trying to upload app containing a Help Book
I create a help book for my macOS app and it works locally. However, when I try to upload the app to App Store Connect I get a strange error: Image: Text: Bad CFBundleExecutable. Cannot find executable file that matches the value of CFBundleExecutable in the nested bundle DottieHelp [com.gingerbeardman.Dottie.pkg/Payload/Dottie.app/Contents/Resources/DottieHelp.help] property list file. (ID: 48052567-91cc-43ca-8d7c-0f14bd60e6da) This is curious, because there is no executable in the help file. If I delete CFBundleExecutable from the help target in Xcode, it keeps coming back. Why? But if I do an Archive build, then go deep into the bundle and manually remove entry for CFBundleExecutable then the build uploads fine. Any ideas how I can prevent Xcode from adding CFBundleExecutable key to the info.plist of a help file? macOS 14.7.6 (23H626) Xcode 16.2 (16C5032a)

Automating closing of iCloud Tab?
I would like to script my Mac to close a specific iCloud Tab of my choice that is open on my iPhone. This is for Accessibility reasons. Ideally, I’d prefer to do this without using GUI scripting. AppleScript methods only seem to see tabs in Windows Extensions also do not seem to have visibility of the other types of tabs I've tried many options so far, but all seem to not work and are also far too brittle even if they did. I have a feeling I'm missing something! 1. Toolbar Dropdown In Desktop Safari you can enable a toolbar button “iCloud Tabs” which when clicked shows a list of the tabs currently open on your other devices. If you hover one, an X appears which can be clicked to close the tab. When you next use Safari on the remote device that tab will be closed. If it’s already open and awake then the removal happens around one second later. It’s quick. (But I did try GUI scripting and I can get to the row in the outline in the popup, but I can’t get the cross to appear to click it) 2. Start Page they’re also listed on favorites:// “start page” but there are issues viewing all and no way to search them. There used to be a search field until Safari ~15. 3. Omnibar They’re also shown in omni/address bar, but getting the correct item to appear at all or in a predictable position is fragile. 4. Sidebar Another alternative to the favorites/"start page" layout. Same issues. 5. Modifying Safari Database directly Changes are not mirrored to the cloud. It seems Safari does a cloudd request that I can't do.

Developer ID Application Certificate Expires in 30 Days?
I got an email with the subject "Action Needed: Developer ID Application Certificate Expires in 30 Days" But on the cert page it's not exactly clear to my how to renew the cert or generate a new one. Confused by the fact that I already have half a dozen ...somehow? Any help or guidance appreciated.

Restoring most recent document at cold start in DocumentGroup iOS app?
I've tried everything I can to restore the most recent document at cold start in my DocumentGroup iOS app. Q1. I believe it's not possible, but I would be happy to be proven wrong? Q2. Why is this not possible? My users who only edit one document find it quite annoying to have to select it so frequently.
