Since about a year ago, our app has been experiencing a downgrade on devices linked to Apple Watch via promotion code delivery. The problem occurs even if you have turned off all "App background updates" in your iPhone settings. However, the downgrade does not occur if the device is not connected to the Apple Watch and the promotion code is delivered only to the device. (We have heard that downgrades may have occurred internally.)
