Since about a year ago, our app has been experiencing a downgrade on devices linked to Apple Watch via promotion code delivery.
The problem occurs even if you have turned off all "App background updates" in your iPhone settings.
However, the downgrade does not occur if the device is not connected to the Apple Watch and the promotion code is delivered only to the device. (We have heard that downgrades may have occurred internally.)
Procedure for downgrade occurrence
install the promotion code delivery app on your iPhone device
connect to Apple Watch from the app
The app is automatically installed on the Apple Watch (or manually installed if not connected).
downgrade occurs when you check the version of the iPhone app
It may be that the App Store app on the Apple Watch is not linked properly when installing apps.
If you know anything about this issue, please let me know.
Thank you for your cooperation.
